Machine Operator

Shift(s): 2nd & 3rd
FLSA Status: Hourly

Job Summary: As a machine operator you will be responsible for the operation of the entire production process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Must comply and support all applicable GMPs, Site Security, and Food Packaging Defense requirements that are referenced in
the facilities GFSI food packaging safety program.
• Other duties as assigned by any member of management.
• Set up and operation of various machines.
• Run material through machine according to company specifications.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintain the work area, keep equipment in clean and orderly condition, follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Ensure correct materials are used to meet customer specifications.
• Ensure all inventory entries are complete and accurate.
• Inspect and maintain quality of product.
• Meet all quality and efficiency standards.
• Meet all company safety policies and report any concerns related to required maintenance of machines.
• Test operation of machines periodically

Education/Experience:
• Technical school and training or equivalent experience.
• Mechanical, electrical & automation knowledge.
• Corrugator or Converting manufacturing processes experience, preferred.
• Service orientation and sense of urgency, will deliver results.
• Minimum 5 years in a position in a corrugated manufacturing environment (Maintenance).
• Good communication skills, able to work in a systematic and organized manner.

Director of Transportation

Maintain program in compliance with all INDOT regulations and trainings required
Supervise and coordinate program with the Assistant Director of Transportation
Administer Drug & Alcohol Testing program
Supervise and keep records for drivers including hiring, firing, and evaluating
Schedule driver trainings and meetings
Schedule, dispatch and verify trips using transportation software
Maintain records to support periodic reports
Keep records of all accidents and incidences that occur
Work with Medicaid vendor(s) and assure billing is accurate
Generate reports related to transportation
Work with Executive Director with regards to transportation grants
